Rob Chetwynd takes his business online with a custom eCommerce package.
RPC Promo had been struggling with their online presence and finally approached DotCom Promotions to totally redo their website and custom design an online payment gateway system that would work the way that they work.
One specific element of the design brief was that there was to be a number of online video tutorials so that customers can easily get information on products that they have purchased without the need to contact RPC Promo directly. This was accomplished by using flash video for its small file size and ability to instantly stream without the need for a streaming server.
Another requirement was that Robert needed to add, edit and delete new product lines as they changed and wanted a custom content managemnet system created for this job. He can now change any element of a product whenever he wishes, from any browser in the world.
This gives him the freedom to travel with his products, conducting presentations and demonstrations and if he chooses to add a new product that he finds somewhere in the world, he can have it live and available on the site that evening.
