Mel Sacks from Formsprint in Willoughby NSW asked us to create a website for his printing business that would allow customers to log into a members database and request pricing or order printing.
He wanted the ability for customers to sign up manually through the site so that they then became members and had their own unique passwords and usernames that they could then use to control what they wanted to do on the site.
This was accomplished using MySQL databases along with custom built PHP processing scripts. The submission process also included sending the information back to Formsprint head office in CSV format so that they could enter any new customers into their internal database contects system.
Once the new customer is signed in there is a series of forms that control the flow of teh new site. Everything is automated so that the workload is cut to almost zero.
We added a quick quote function to most pages so that a customer can quickly send off a request for pricing without having to go through all the trouble of signing up.
There is a Frequently Asked Question section so that Mel can post answers to questions that keep popping up and it is also a place that he can refer customers so that they can refresh their memory of the processes.
The site is clean and fresh and colourful. A female model was chosen as the face of Formsprint to give the company a soft, friendly feel and a clear message was chosen for the home page telling the visitors that they can SAVE UP TO 30%.
