DotCom Promotions have joined forces with VitiTones and FBC Fiji to deliver mobile phone ringtones and download content to listeners of the 6 Fiji Broadcasting Corporation radio stations on the island.
We have developed mobile phone download software to help deliver the content via the Vodafone network to over 2500 different handset models. This is done by checking each handset on connection to ascertain what model and brand it is. Once that knowledge is obtained we can deliver tailored content for that handsets particular specifications.
We are working on a content management system to update top 40 ringtones daily, so that it is live on the website even before the top 40 list is published.
Another recent development is a reverse auction type software so that FBC can run competitions where the listeners get to win big prizes for guessing the lowest unique bid.
Ronny Kumaran has been instrumental in developing new and creative ideas for the radio station. His talents at implimenting new ideas are limitless and the station has enjoyed increased revenue since Ronny took over the stations promotions management.
