AutoShowroom
DotCom Promotions produces a custom CMS for auto dealers.
DotCom Promotions were tasked with developing a software title for AutoShowroom Software Australia (ASA). As part of that project we developed a web portal for them to help launch and market their new software.
The website was designed with a manly feel due to the target market being mostly male 35 to 60 yrs (Automotive Dealer Principals and I.T. Managers). We used a non slip steel background and striking colours combined with strong, modern graphic shapes to convey the feeling that we were after. Red text for the headlines and white for the body copy jump out on the black background.
The website has an eMarketing engine attached to a database that can be filled by both manual entry and form submission. AutoShowroom staff can create email mailouts easily with the eMarketor and select either a single email address, a set of addresses or the mailing list database to batch mail their direct marketing campaigns. All mail is Australian Spam Act compliant.
Each page is also tagged each time it is viewed so AutoShowroom can tell which pages are the most relevant to their customers. They have used this user information to move messages that they want seen to the most viewed pages. This strategy has worked very well for them.

AutoShowroom is a complete website software package, specifically designed for Australian Automotive Dealerships, to give dealers back control of their website and to cut running costs dramatically, saving many thousands of dollars every year.
Each piece of code was hand written specifically for this program and for the specific task that it performs, including search engines and databases.
