DotCom Promotions recently created a new website and online payment gateway for Peter McGrath of Arrowmaster Giftware. We were asked to create a website that reflected the company's current values and a design that showcased the stock to its best advantage.
DotCom worked closely with Peter and his staff to custom design an entire website, online payment gateway, invoicing system and product content management system that fully integrated the systems that the company already had in place and was easy to use for non technical staff members.
The whole site is currently maintained by one staff member through a secure password protected administration section where they can add, edit and delete products and product lines including product photo uploading and automatic resize and optimisation, easily make a product a special and then change back to full price when promotion ends, instantly take a product offline without deleting it (as for christmas/seasonal lines), check sales figures with one click plus a lot of unique time saving features that we wrote into thier custom software.
A few added extras were created to make maintaing their website easier. These included a CMS (content management system) to add new home page photos and banners, A CMS for the specials page to add specials easily and efficiently, a mailing list database that can be used to collect user data and then to target users in direct mail campaigns plus other features unique to DotCom Promotions.
We created an Australia Post postage calculator and integrated that into the invoicing system so that it is charged to the user at time of purchase, the invoice then directs staff to fulfillment and it is streamlined through to delivery.
