Ace Awards
Australian Club and Entertainment Awards gets a voting engine.
The Australian Club Entertainment Awards (ACE Awards) approached DotCom Promotions to help upgrade their image and website. They wanted to appear upmarket whilst maintaining an easy to navigate website that would deliver a variety of entertaining news andinformation.
DotCom was asked to come up with a solution to automating the voting process so that the awards could be judged online, electronically. We created a secure members database and login system and tied that to a three stage custom built voting system. The database then delivers the winners in a formatted email and once winners are announced at the awards they can be easily posted on the site and the whole process repeated next year.
As this year marks an important milestone, ACE Awards are planning an extravagant event for the 10th Annual Australian Club Entertainment Awards, which will be held at Canterbury-Hurlstone Park RSL Club on Wednesday 31st October 2007.
